On our mission trip to Kenya, we touched the lives of widows, elderly, the abandoned and the disabled. We worked with the Whispers of Love (Kenya Team), Liberty Baptist Church (Fayetteville, GA), and Little Manna (Malena, GA) to provide food for the body and nutritious spirit through the Word of God and prayer.
The U.S. and Kenyan teams visited the marginalizes at their respective homes. We prayed with them and at times cried with the people we met.
As this was my first mission trip to Kenya, the prayer request surprised me. Most asked for prayers for their family members who were not saved. Then request were made for healing and an opportunity to return to church to worship God.
