Our Story

Our purpose is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the marginalized. Share good news of hope and faith with the forgotten, forbidden and forsaken individuals locally and around the globe.

In 2012, when we began this walk, our goal was to share the gospel with Autistic individuals and encourage their familes and caregivers through the love of Jesus. Over a decade has passed and we have seen the need to share the Gospel is far greater than our expectations. We have expanded our reach to not only those who are on the Spectrum, but to anyone who is unable to attend church or simply does not have a personal relationship with Jesus.

On our website you will find Bible Study Lessons for children, teens and adults. A VBS that you may host in your home or with your neighbors. If you use a free item publicly, we just ask that you share our website as the provider.

Why Did We Start This Walk?

When my son was 5 years old he doctors told us he was on the Autism Spectrum. He prayed and believed God would heal him. He did not believe anything is or would ever be incurable. Our family prayed for him. We recited Psalm 139 verse 14 “..I will praise thee; for I am fearfully & wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works…” . At age 7, he began declaring to be free from the Spectrum. By third grade we know the Spectrum would not define his life.

So, I guess, in many respects this story is as much his as it is mine. Through the power of prayer, God brought our son through. He overcame the impossible. Experts told us he would never ride a bicycle or tie his shoe. Special needs teaches at our neighborhood school predicted he wouldn’t master kindergarden. Really? I knew in my heart, that my son was smart, so we registered him in a charter school.

Today, he is a 3rd year college student studying Architecture. He lives just off campus in an apartment with one roommate from California. He is doing amazing things and plans to open an international architecture firm with offices around the globe. His passion is building affordable housing.

In the early days, we attended any community event that would welcome us. We participated in parades, community health events and public school events. Autism awareness was our foot in the door and we sprinkled a little Jesus in our presentation. Today, we have grown in our walk in Christ and lead with Jesus. The Bible says, “… I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,” (Ephesians 6:19).
